Payment: The services listed below are provided on a hourly basis, flat fee or a combination of hourly and flat fee. Retainers are established on a case-by-case basis. An "Evergreen" clause is included in the representation contract. Major Credit Cards accepted.
Individualized consultation to help you understand your rights and establish attainable goals. Drafting of documents, gathering of evidence, preparation for conferences, navigation through the Court system, Court appearances, examination of witnesses, analysis of case, division of community property, assignment of community debts, division of retirement accounts, settlement negotiations and/or trial through to Entry of Judgment and beyond.
Helping couples address and resolve their marital issues without the confrontation or added expense of public adversarial litigation. All discussions take place in the privacy of my office. I will help you to fairly divide your assets and debts, establish parenting schedules, determine appropriate support and find creative solutions within the confines of the law. My office will also prepare all of the documents required for Entry of Judgment.
Helping parents establish the best methods to raise children in separate households. Working through issues of schedules, effective co-parenting, protection and nurturing of children, move-a-ways, completion of documents, filing motions, preparation for Family Court Services, extra curricular activities and addressing the individual needs or parents and children.
Supporting two households on the income formerly used to support one is challenging. We will help you establish temporary support orders, addressing issues of medical insurance, payment of daycare costs, determine income for support, calculate guideline child support, set forth factors for permanent spousal support, establishing support orders, negotiate and argue cases in Family Court and the Department of Child Support Services, enforcement and modification of existing orders.
Working with you to legally establish parent-child relationships. Filing of Petitions, filing of motions, methods for the determination of paternity, child custody and visitation schedules, preparation for Family Court Services, establishing child support orders, name changes, examination of witnesses and modification of existing orders.
Termination of Registered Domestic Partnerships with or without children. Division of community property, establishing support orders, understanding of tax issues particular to same sex couples, child share schedules, completion of forms, court appearances, negotiation of settlement and/or trial through to Entry of Judgment.
Establishing and defending both Domestic Violence and Civil Harassment Restraining Orders. Establishing temporary orders, residence removal orders, protection of other family members, protection of pets, drafting pleadings, direct and cross examination of witnesses, establishing permanent orders, defending against unjust requests for orders.
Estate planning protects you and your family's future when faced with death or disability. Services include Drafting of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, addressing Estate Tax issues, provisions for management of assets, preparation of funding documents and organization of documents.
